Well Gary,

Its crunch time...and we are doing quite well?

another gap tomorrow? We'll see I guess during after hrs trading combined w/ the last 30 min action?

Looking good today. Volume still light? Up nearly 1pt yet my options aren't that strong? never a good sign...usually?

Jeff

re: MASH ... I believe MASH is Mayer/Schweitzer, Schwab's MM.

I gather you recently made the Level II vendor decision. I'd appreciate any pearls of wisdom you (or other Level II users) might care to cast. My current finalists are PCQUOTE and SP/COMSTOCK for web-based LII. Comments?

Thank you.

Gary

MASH is Mayer & Schweitzer (Charles Schwab). INCA is instinet and can be anyone on instinet so we never know who is behind the buying or selling from INCA. If you want to know the sellers or buyers of a stock watch the mm's that are on the inside market most of the time and which side they are on, the ones that go high bid or low offer the most often, the ones that stay on the inside market the longest when the stock is in motion, and what they are doing on selectnet. Only after watching and paying attention to the above can you determine the true buyers and sellers (or try to anyway). I hope this helps.

P.S. Goldman was a buyer today, while yesterday they were sellers. This means they are probably being used for order fills on both sides (selling and buying) I have not been able to determine if they are true buyers yet. Merrill Lynch has been the most obvious buyer last few days.
