Hi Zeus, I have literally been watching Gasoline prices at the pump here in Houston come down something like 10 cents everyday for the past 5 or 6 days. I have never seen anything like it. I think we have some gasoline prices in the 2.39 range by the time I came home tonight.

As I have been commenting for months, the volatility across an entire universe of prices is really profound beyond belief this year. It's like every day is an adventure... what are prices going to be today. I feel like I should be the US military black market trader in "Catch 22" making two way prices with tight spreads in everything, under the sun.

And needless to say our economy in Houston, is totally whigged out with the cross currents from Hurrican Ike and the big demand it's put into certain industries demand for labor, security specializations, insurance money floating around.
