There was no al Qaeda in Iraq before Bush overthrew Saddam - a secular muslim and arch-enemy of bin Laden - to install a regime friendly to Iran. Brilliant move.

Your hero Bush is so great McCain said just today that the next 4 years won't be like the last eight. Bush is poison and McCain is falling over himself to distance himself from the Bush legacy.

While the level of violence in Iraq is down, General Petraius - and reports from the Pentagon - caution that the gains are fragile and threatened by a number of worrisome developments - 5 years after Bush proclaimed "Mission accomplished!"

I suspect you must wake up every day and wonder how much closer this race would be if McCain had selected Mitt Romney or Kay Bailey Hutchinson instead of that one from Alaska...
