Maybe he is truly not very bright------he talks a good line but doesn't have the quality of historic common sense that is a continuing thread in Americans who grewup in the USA mainland. Common sense is a quality that has been handed down generation after generation to future generations and immigrants to the present time in America-----in the Continental USA. What Obama does not have is the formative background that his age group had on the mainland of the USA (America)-----he grew up in Hawii, a beautiful place but not the mainland of the USA where 99% of us voters live. Based on Obama's early years as a child and teenager in Hawaii in the 1960's and 1970's it is fair to say that Obama is an outsider to the mainstream of America. Obama has been on a 2 year tour of America, paid for by taxpayers who pay him to be a Senator and the contributions to his campaign. Let's just call him "Out-of-touch Obama". imo---mj
