Tim-MSFT is backing anything that gives greater bandwidth and have no preference of cable over ADSL..they just want all options to get moving yesterday!-Great recovery on the indexes huh?

Tim -- The recent court ruling was in favor of the Telcos. Jumped the first barrier. If GTE gets MCI, the gov't will be forced to drop the Long Distance & out of region Internet restrictions. Jump the second barrior.

Then it will be true competition and let "The Bronx" street fights begin. IMHO, GTE & MCI combination will spur this industry to new heights.
