Well, they have something like 60 House seats in play right now. If they lose 'em all (obviously, they won't), they'd be down to less than 135 seats, which would be under 1/3 of the House. But even if they lose 2/3 of those (very possible), that would put them at like 150 seats... not easy to recover from.
