Eventually, yes. The Romans, English, Spanish, Persians, you name it....eventually could NOT support their foreign excursions and were forced to cut back. I guess we could tell the Chinese that they can take Taiwan as long as they'll keep financing our half-trillion a year in defense spending for another ten years...that might work. But, what will we do after that....LOL You have to start PAYING for things if you want to continue to have them...and that INCLUDES National Defense.
