Definitely the former. Hmmmmm... OK, so when you have time, I have follow-up questions on your high floor and, if the floor is high, what's the point of supplemental insurance. (At the time I first started looking into Medicare maybe ten years ago, the program discouraged supplementals for that reason. Doctors that took Medicare patients were not allowed to make private arrangements for additional payments from patients. Now my gerontologist/GP is looking into a retainer-type concierge service atop the Medicare. I am ignorant of whatever forces effected that change. Either it wasn't discussed in the news or I just wasn't paying attention.) Re hospice, just PM me whenever.
