When I'm at the lake I bake in my gas grill along with cook. Then I have a 2 burner propane range that works as well as any gas range top. Get equipped and cook outside and enjoy the fall weather:)

I can't imagine trying to function without my kitchen. Mine is to small and barely functional but I know where everything is and how I can make it work. Can't imagine being in another kitchen trying to function. I feel for you.

Man that is really a drag losing all of those trees. Unless they do some transplanting it will be many years before you have good sized trees again. Bummer.

I remember growing up with stewed chicken and dumplings. We raised chickens, so we had plenty. A great meal and probably very affordable during those WWII years. Mom used to make home made noodles too. drooling here....

My chicken noodle soup turned out well. I'll be able to clean it up tomorrow night. Having some left over spaghetti sauce tonight. Left overs are a way of life around here.
