Since we took pictures of the solarium before the crane took off the tree and after, the supervisor is saying that the crane company should share in the cost of replacing the solarium since it wasn't totally destroyed until after part of it fell on to and through the glassed in top.

Write them a letter firmly but politely instructing them you expect them to pay 100% of the claim. If they believe they have a claim against the crane company for reimbursement of a portion, they are free to pursue it later. Indicate in the letter a cc: to your state Insurance Commissioner
