Jeff, I am the wrong person to ask about the semi industry, I still think they got a tough year ahead of them. I would much rather hold AMAT or KLAC vs LRCX. I haven't heard too many good things about LRCX recently...maybe there's a reason why it started it's slide long before the other did.

OFF TOPIC--LRCX--Jeff, I like Lam. I think the new CEO, Jim Bagley, is a go getter. Lam has preannounced near term transition difficulties such as higher R&D expenses for CMP polishing at the Ontrack subdivision and ramp-up issues with the Alliance cluster tool. The sell-off to the high 30's was, IMHO, way overdone. Lam has the most upside potential of any equip. stock I hold. Check out this recent link:
