Well he or his representative have to appear on Oct 15th.

Eric,
That is incorrect.
THat order is not signed by a Judge or dated. It is a form provided by the Plaintiff for the judge should he choose to grant the motion. It is not a legal document.

One dirty little secret few discuss is how the judicial decisions are swayed by ones politics.

It was Roberts (who said it would work)and Scalia (who carried it out)that literally gave the 2000 election to Bush based on pure politics. Does anyone believe for a second if the circumstances had been reversed Scalia would have done the same for Gore?

I remember that day so well. The vote counting was going against Bush and as it got to less than 100 votes, I think, that is when the supreme court stepped in and stopped the coutning with bush very slightly ahead. 5 to 4 liberals and conservatives.

The liberals wrote very harsh words about that decision. but bush was president. It was all about conservative/liberal ideology and nothing about objective jurisprudence.

Now that we all know judges decisions are so riddled with ideology how do we procede as a democracy and civilization.

And it is the conservatives who are consistantly less objective.
