What a fool. "the Obama-Biden ticket is not a capitulationist one"? what planet is he on? They have been for capitulation for the last four years. Al Qaeda would own Iraq if Obama had his way.

I am really disappointed in Hitchens. I really like his grasp of reality sometimes. He lost it here.

No doubt a hitchen's alcohol moment. He hopes that his grasp of sarcasm would make his point. He often fails. Some call him a struggling Ann Coulter. Not me, he is just another atheist trying to sell a senseless commentary on religion.

A profile on Hitchens by NPR stated: "Hitchens is known for his love of cigarettes and alcohol -- and his prodigious literary output." Hitchens admits to drinking heavily; in 2003 he wrote that his daily intake of alcohol was enough "to kill or stun the average mule." ...He drinks, he says, 'because it makes other people less boring. I have a great terror of being bored. But I can work with or without it. It takes quite a lot to get me to slur.'"

"Christopher Hitchens," Wikipedia. <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christopher_Hitchens> (07 August, 2008).

The most insulting thing that a politician can do is to compel you to ask yourself: "What does he take me for?"

That's certainly what Obama and the Dems cause me to ask. They must think the electorate is composed of fools and those who will go along because it makes them feel less guilty.
