Theoretically, no money has been printed yet. It's all borrowed from the Fed, subject to withdrawal when conditions improve. If the Fed starts printing, it will be very apparent and that's when gold will take off. They may never need to print, if the world bond markets continue to absorb the huge debt issues from Treasury.
