How does letting people keep more of their own money "redistribute" wealth? Well, it depends on how you look at it. If you're talking about with respect to the previous datapoint, then it is a redistribution. All tax code changes are -- you change how the after-tax income is distributed amongst Americans. But your point is taken. If you're talking about income distribution with respect to who earned the money, I agree with you.
