Hi Less. Nature runs paradoxes. Primate females hop the fence to get genetic diversity. Her related males try to conquer that same tribe she goes to.

But men are attracted to women like their mothers [I think that's how it goes].

Women have always done eugenics [rejecting the undesirables and producing the genes she thinks are hot stuff]. They use their brains to do that, not just instinctual parts of their brains. Using brains to choose gender and other genetic aspects of their offspring is just more of the same.

We don't need to worry that people will go up a genetic blind alley of self-selection. Nature will sort out any problems in the relentless, merciless and cruel way it has always done, red in tooth and claw if needs be.

That was something sensible out of NZ. It has been pretty thin gruel since then [and before].
