<At (human) conception you have a new member of the species homo sapiens.> Well, you can 'say it' however you want...that is simply a mental construct and does not preclude the truth of the matter that the new "life" is not separate, physically, biologically, psychologically, or in any other way from the mother... including the fact that when 'conditions aren't right' the womans body miscarries as a normal and important course of life. Further, a woman's role in developement is MUCH MORE profound IN EVERY WAY than the father. Therefore IMHO women should make all decisions on issues of abortion, mandated by states, federal level personal level or however. There is no way a man can possibly understand a womans potential decision to have an abortion. Actually the reminds me of the "holographic" nature of life and the world and the parable about the vine... "we are one body". JMO or course. dAK
