to...whoever gives a flying, uh...fire truck - Just because a stock is not NASDAQ National MKT System, be it small fry or bulletin board..it is still within the eyes and ears of the SEC - somebody earlier suggested it was outside the auspices. I should also add that the sheep investors - those with no independent thought - can be shaken out of good situations if they don't know what they own or why they own it. I recall seeing a TV documentary last summer that showed a couple who invested their life savings in a san diego biotech company that was doing work on diabetes. They did so because they were told it "was going to double in 3 months". I have a feeling that a large chunk of the stock of MSON was held by that same type of investor. As far as I am concerned, I am happy to be rid of them & hopefully they've learned a little lesson.

I'm frankly tired of hearing these manipulation complaints so hear is my suggestion.......
1) Call the SEC and file a complaint!!!!!!!!!!!!
2) Call your Broker and refuse to trade your OTC ( NASDAQ ) Stocks through a MM . Only use Island, Instanet or another system that shows the order to the public. I don't care what the rules are, the MM's DO NOT show the orders in their hand. So many 5 and 10 thousand share trades ocurred today and NEVER was that amount shown on the bid or offer before the trade.
3) Write a letter to every Senator , Congressman and anyone in Washington who will listen .
4) If you are gonna play the games, learn the rules.
5) If you don't like the rules, don' t play, or do something to change them instead of complaining about it!!!!

This is not directed only at you, but at thousands of others who feel this way. I know what goes on . The NASDAQ lobby is so powerful that it has been impossible to change much. Also , how about pressuring the companies to list on NYSE!!!!!! Gateway did it. Iomega did it. Nasdaq is a risk free arb situation to anyone who can get the order flow.. Like taking candy from a baby, like stealing from your mother etc.. Do something please. Vent your anger somewhere where some changes can be made. We can't help you, and it is really getting boring and tiresome... Thanks!!!! SPEEDY==============================================================

Olu:

You need a strong stomach if you trade these small cap stocks. I trade exclusively high-tech small cap stocks and I am up nicely most of the time. You have to evaluate the stocks you are holding and have to keep them as long as the fundamentals don't change and as long as you don't find a cheaper stock with similar fundamentals. Don't be scared by the ups and downs of the market. Good stocks ALWAYS come back as long as the fundamentals (syn. earnings) are strong. Needless to say, MSON didn't shake me out, even if it had dropped to $5 (would have bought more).

Happy trading.
