Chas, why are you railing on the guy for giving us his opinion of a movie? Because his didn't agree with yours he must be wrong? How about you just respectfully disagree and leave it at that. Frankly I'm finding you offensive in this exchange.

I don't know about anal, but I like westerns because though many people read undue allegory into the stories the bad guys are bad guys and the good guys are good guys.

The way they make movies these days you get somebody's political tripe shoved down your throat if you are not careful.

Oliver Stone's World Trade Center is an example. It was filmed in the dark, which was fine. But it made no mention of the very bad guys who did the dirty deed, and made no mention of the efforts put forth by Rudy Giuliani and President Bush to respond to it. In a nutshell, it was NOT entertaining, and NOT informative.

It's the least offensive of Stone's movies.

Michael Moore's movies are just trash. Not even that. Garbage.

Your advice would have made sense 30 years ago, but now it's just one more effort to swing mainstream thought to the left.
