Sam; I think - and hope - you might be right about Obama's economic team. Heck he could go to any kindergarten class in the country and pick kids at random and still come up with a better team than Bush has. I think Goolsbee who advises Obama on economic issues is very sharp. From the piece posted by Lane3; Obama has already promised a clean energy/jobs program that would cost $150 billion over 10 years. He’s vowed $60 billion in infrastructure spending over the same period. I laughed out load after reading that. We just dumped a 150 billion into a stimulus plan, a Trillion into the bailout, another stimulus in the works AND the two wars that cost over 10 billion a month and they worry about 150 billion over 10 years for energy and 60 billion over 10 years for infrastructure? Yikes. steve
