My point is that it's REALLY difficult to step into that argument right now given the current climate. There are probably many more people in the states that would welcome it as a right than their are those who can afford and are not worried about their health care.

I'm sure they're looking at it from every angle and polling it.

McCain show have interrupted and said, "WAIT A MINUTE!". And gone on to explain just what Obama was proposing by proclaiming health care to be a "right". That is, effectively overriding the Constitution, placing the government on notice that from now on, we look to IT instead of ourselves to take care of us.

You forget that the polls went up right after that debate. People understood what he meant and they agreed with him.
