I think the general area of vested interests and protecting one's family is much of the reason that we haven't seen many whistle blowers. You have lost me on <the area> in the 70's. What are you referring to? The "area" is the general area of behind the scenes things and also tinfoil hat areas like the "one worlders" and power/control freaks. I wish I would have made the connection between what my father was talking about and "the establishment" that my generation called much of the area, although it was a large leap. He was taking pre 1964 silver coins out of circulation, starting in 1965 - and you can imagine the rest. His "foresight" was amazing to me in the mid '70s and even more so after he passed away in 1976.
