nigel, many grassroots Americans recognize the threat to personal freedoms from Obama, as evidenced by the following post at another website:

with a Democrat majority in Congress, efforts will be made to prevent another 1994 purge. The floodgates on the southern border will be opened to let in millions of new victims (i.e. Dem voters). The "fairness" doctrine will shut down conservative voices now allowed by the free market. The IRS will be sent after the opposition. Challenging Obama will bring the FBI to your door (see Missouri). Successful and honest politicians like Palin will have their emails hacked, rallies overridden by thugs (see brown shirts), and personal lives vilified by the MSM/hollywood (see The View, Madonna). A federal law will also be passed so that voters will not need to show IDs. There will be no more "Gingrich revolutions". A monopoly will be created that will shut down our democracy. nigel.... Question...Are there any foreign laws now being used in your country? and if so is this a good change to British laws and do you care at all?

I refer of course to sharia law being used in Briton and it's creep into the rest of the free world countries..America is in a position to prevent this disaster from occurring in their country...unless of course they should elect a person who would favor going the way of briton.
