Yes, I would think so... Gulp! We are witnessing a fight of two huge monsters, the derivative monster (Lehman CDS are due for payment next week on the 21-st) and the Fed with unlimited cash printing abilities. There is a certain risk in that picture, and it's the risk of a currency run on the dollar. That would be very bad. The imbalances created in the Global economy certainly point that way if US was, say, a country the size of Switzerland, but... it ain't. So, the game is shifting ballparks all the time -g-
