I hate when they do that to you...we rented our condo to a "wonderful Nobel Peace Prize winner," and the telephone Co called us and asked us if we would let her get her own number..while she rented there. I said no because I didn't want to lose my number..well they begged and PROMISED that we would get our number back when she left.. Well, she left owing us money, the place smelled like cigars, and the phone company wouldn't give me back my number until I raise such kane, I think they were afraid not to give me my old number back. Don't ever trust the phone company. or a Nobel peace prize winner, they will deny they told you anything.
