It's a matter of temperament, to many leftists politics is their religion, and they embrace it with perfervid passion. (sorry, couldn't resist <g>) Many conservatives would rather tend their gardens than get political.

Someone posted a Thomas Sowell column here recently that described liberals as heirs of the French Revolution and Robespierre and conservatives as heirs of the American Revolution. He was definitely on to something....

Krauthammer on Fox this morning said McCain needs to go after Obama's associations with Acorn, Wright, Ayers et al tonight. He remarked it has the whiff of desperation because it comes so late. Per Krauthammer, these are legitimate issues and McCain should have been on it months ago.
