Jules,

The year 2000 work is driving a lot of service revenue for Big Blue, and the regression testing will result in big mainframe sales over the next year or so. You may be a year early in shorting...

Jules,

Again, the spin analyst's come through for IBM. Solly upgraded today, if that isn't a contrarian indicator, I don't know what is.

I believe the street recognizes that IBM is selling out it's future to support it's current stock price, I don't believe it will go to new highs from here, even in a market rally.

Just my humble opinion, but today in the markets was almost exactly the opposite of what you will see for the rest of the quarter. Financials will underperform, the cream of the technology stocks will come forward, the street will recognize the implications of the DOJ problems with MSFT, and the lack of operational earnings growth from IBM.

Could be completely wrong, don't think so,
