did you catch Jesse Jackson's comment a day or two ago to the effect that under an Obama administration, the US relationship to Israel will be dramatically changed?

I have no idea why anyone thinks that Jackson either speaks for Obama or has any special insight into Obama, but the comment got enough press and publicity that the Obama campaign issued a denial this morning.

Jackson has become completely senile if he thinks that making comments like that will enhance his standing with anyone but a very small group of people.

>>The right keeps screaming that Obama is secretly evil, but 70 million voters have watched him speak for hours without uttering a word that remotely confirms the "he's a closet radical" chant.<<

Dale -

That's what's so diabolical about him. He has spent his entire life, including many years in the public eye, without revealing his true, radical self. He even wrote two books where he doesn't mention his devotion to overthrowing the federal government.

Nobody's ever been able to find one radical statement that Obama has made in his entire life. Talk about sneaky.

Or, wait. Do you think he might be pretty much who he says he is, and who everybody who knows him says he is? Even John McCain says he's not someone we should fear as President. Could he actually be an OK guy?

Naaah. He has a funny name. That should be enough to convince everyone he's rotten to the core.
