My understanding of the Right's definition of political labeling is like la football line; unbalanced, with the right tackle snapping the ball to the QB. He's the center, the left begins at the right guard, and maybe there is a right end. It's reached the point where Goldwater would be considered at least a moderate, and maybe even a liberal; witness the firing of young Buckley.
