Gasoline (reg unleaded) in the Denver area hit $2.95 yesterday. Haven't checked it this morning.

The drop in thus far in the price of crude has me utterly perplexed. This economy must be far far worse than what our government is letting on. Oil should not be this low.

COS now back to 2005 prices, when crude averaged $50.
