Under which circumstances would a doctor allow a chronically sick patient (often from excessive abuse) alcohol?

Another striking similarity with the addict is that the dose has to be increased on every application,.. a few billions, 50 billions, 200, now 700, Europeans trump that by feeding 1.6T etc...

Then, does it seem strange that the market hardly react to bailouts? (well it stopped the most recent spiral, but todays reaction to retail numbers...)
