I can just hear them the next four years bashing Obama.. Very possibly eight years too. We are probably looking at a realignment election like the following: 1980 - conservatives who endured Nixon's disintegration and Carter's malaise finally felt empowered again. 1992 - liberals end their exile in the Reagan-Bush years with a unifying moderate Democrat. 2000 - the Clinton haters finally get their revenge with a neocon-friendly conservative president. In 2008, we could see the end of any neocon influence and the Rove crowd headed for a political desert island for quite a while. The hate-talk jocks will bask Obama 24/7 to get their ratings, but who outside their base audience will care?
