If he is as good as you say he is, he wouldn't have sold his soul for anything let alone the presidency. Truth be told McCain wears masks pretending to be something he isn't. While that's true of many politicians, his mask hides a very dark side." He may very well be wearing masks (as I believe all politicians do) but I believe he has changed from the "maverick" to a much more polarizing figure. Let's face it... he's been all over the place trying to see what works but if he goes back to the old John McCain now and can get some people to believe it then election Day will be a lot closer. I think if he goes after Obama tonight about the Ayres thing he will be sealing his fate especially if the markets stay down this much again. It is only the Republican base that wants to hear about that stuff. William Ayres has nothing to do with people's 401(k)s. Have you heard the jokes McCain tells.......they tend to be racist and msyoginist. I believe people use jokes to express their non pc thinking. I think his jokes are who McCain is and that fits his bad performance as a pilot and a student at the Academy.
