Role of market sentiment in my decision making: The decision to buy, no role. The decision how much to buy, yes.

The decision to sell, yes -- I try to fight my fear and panic though.

As a self-described value investor and someone who apparently is very influenced by market sentiment, is there any point at which fundamentals outweigh sentiment for you where you will make buy commitments?

The markets now give us stocks selling at 2x-5x forward p/e's, stocks at 8-20% dividend yields, growth stocks under 10x p/e, Greenblatt stocks with high earnings yields.

Sad to say, it doesn't matter though, I guess. So far, not making any buys has been the right decision.
