Darrell: Isn't it amazing? The amount of questionable data regarding
CYMI is profuse. However, let me share my views on this event. The
information that posted on the AOL board, is an obvious attempt to
keep CYMER from moving. It is far less sophisticated than past attempts that achieved varied degree of success. It is my personal
opinion that this event has been inspired by some jerks that decided
to short CYMI when the market was falling. They are already behind
as some kept pushing it down. They may have believed the propoganda
of their predecessors (many long gone) that foretold of poor earnings,
collapsing margins, grand competition, factory fires and of course
the "new" technology.

The people that would sell have long ago done so...! <G>

Well no fires, DUV is the "new" technology. Margins are not collapsing. Competion may or may not exist in any real terms as
the demand for Cymer lasers in not in phase with the demand for
current production chips. The demand for DUV reflects the need
for new product "smaller" that will command a market inversely
proportion to the shinking demand for the present inventory. To
meet this market the manufacturers need the requisite equipment
yesterday. If I have given any attention at all to Cymi's public
statements, I have understood that their demand is more than can
be met. They can continue to expand for a very long time. There
will always be a need for "smaller" and better. If that were not
the case we would all be driving Model Ts. Ford has done well with
their continual improvement of the same product. Semis will also.

I look around and always see smaller, faster...better. I believe
I always will. It's like the box manufactuers. They will have great
business for a long time. Samller cheaper boxes get people in at the entry level. They soon want to upgrade. Always we chase the carrot and we are always proud of our new improved systems. The upgrades work
to the benifit of depleting older inventory.

So, back to the "new" stupid shorters...hehe....they are the finest
asset we have after great product. They have to buy our stock. <G>

Excuse my indulgence...please. Scot: I was concerned as to the post
and I apologize if I am among those that appeared hostile. I was
concerned as were others of the origin of the post. I was confused
when I first read it. I did not understand that you had initially
copied it as discovered.

Good times are as near as certain as can be had in this market! <G>

Good Fortune to all!
