10% = 7.27 years to double. 12 % = 6.11 years to double.

If China is presently 24.7% of the US economy, then it will take 14.62 years at the present growth rate of 10% to be on par if the US does not grow.

This is probably not sustainable. In all likelihood, given the US growth rate and the Chinese growth rate we have to take the differential. Average US growth is 2.1%. We may say that the average growth rate of China may be 6.3% over the next 25 or more years.

Then we have RPP equalization in about about 33.9 years. 1.042^33.9 = ~4.04

In all likelihood, it will take longer than that to Equal the USA. I would give it 40 or more years to reach par with the US.
