Mike; I just got back from a couple of neat trips. Saw some great
New England foilage, then went for 10 days to a spot on the Atlantic
where things are still quite pleasant.
Thanx for the good work. I had asked you to lower the price of some
stocks in my absence. MU and MOT performed well. One of the best
expiration days all year.

Thanx,

RAMPAR

Michael, are there any biotech mutual funds (closed or not) that you would recommend for a long term buy and hold as an alternative to placing bets on a few co.s? I understand potential volatilty is lowered by diversifying into a fund, but IMO a well managed fund in biotech could produce good (+15%/y annualized would be great) gains in the long run, n'est pas? The main factor would be the manager. What do you think of Michael Murphey? Who are THE biotech gurus that have funds? Too bad you are'nt a fund mngr <g>.Thanks again Mike

regards

MB, re: <<all the bad smelling folks on my Xmas list>> does this include Kurlak?

I'm speaking figuratively of course; however, since some of the man's calls IMHO have been malodorous (not to mention maladroit) to the point of being a public olfactory nuisance, why not use the upcoming holiday season as an opportunity to express our heartfelt appreciation for the job Kurlak's done by very selflessly assisting him in getting the stink out.

From what I've seen and read of this self-effacing, gentle messenger, there appears to be one brand that comes very close to approximating what I would call (pardon my French) "L'essence de la hachete":

BRUTE

Anyone know his mailing address? <g>

Good trading,

Tom
