I think the kids looked a little confused, like they were trying to figure out who was the daddy. I'm sure that terrifies the right wingnuts, but kids deal with confusion all the time at that age. I'm sure they'll figure it out, and grow up to be more tolerant people.

To me they just look curious and like they are trying to do things right. When you're that age, life is either very structured or unstructured. When its a structured event, and to these kids this event is structured, they get very serious and intense. They want to make sure they get it right while at the same time they are intensely curious. Its why I think kids are the best thing since haagen dazs.
