"ACORN could never submit faulty voter registration cards because they check, recheck, and check their work again."

I can always tell when you are trying to spin your way out of a hole. The straw guys always show up.

No one ever said that, except for you.

"Besides, 600 out of 1200 cards were rejected by the state, so there is no way any of the faulty registrations ACORN filed could make its way into the system."

Look out! Straw on the attack!

"And who cares how many faulty registrations from ACORN make it into the system?"

A third!

"There's no proof that this amounts to a significant number anyway."

This one is at least close. There isn't any proof that there is a significant of fraudulent votes. How big is this problem? I mean really? Should there be pictures of voters on milk cartons?

No one knows. There is a lot of pressure to make it harder for people to vote, we are supposed to be rushing quickly to solve the problem. But there doesn't even seem to be fire. And none of you can quantify to any extent why we should be considering making sure more people don't vote other than ominous warnings and dire predictions. Mysterious illegals who skulk down to the precincts and stuff the ballot boxes. The homeless cruising around town, looking to vote as many times as possible.

And when complaints about trying to keep minorities from voting are expressed, y'all whine about the race card.
