I'd say that is probably true. Fox is a right wing propaganda machine. Conversely, if it wasn't for the Internet, CNN, and MSNBC, he'd probably be down by 10% or more. So all these left and right propaganda machines even out, so the best person wins, or at least the one who convinces the most people that he's the best person.

Let's face it. McCain is just a bad candidate. I don't mean policy-wise, rather I mean his political skills. For example, Bush Sr was the better man, when he ran against Clinton, but Clinton was the most gifted politician of his time. So he won. Obama happens to be the most gifted politician of this time. McCain is not. So he will lose.

Now thankfully, I believe the most gifted politician is also the best person for the job.
