Yes, exactly. This misfired against me this last month, but this darn month was pretty extraordinary. "Normally", combined with chart and sentiment reading, over time it works OK. It helps to have time value deterioration on your side. But it is important to have rules and not to overplay one's hand. I never sell more than the amount which I'm prepared to get filled on - if it comes to it. In this sense October was no exception.
