If Obama really raises taxes (read that on corporations and a few very high income guys), the economy will be really down the toilet for much more than any 18 mo recession.

This is exactly what I am talking about when referring to political potshots. They just dont belong on this thread. An occasional post or comment about the economy is one thing, but if you feel compelled to add politics, it automatically crosses the line.

the real problem is to go out and fire every sitting bank president who is hoarding cash.

The TAXpayers just paid them to put in a giant insurance policy to vcover up their lousy records for the last 5 years.

But it all starts with Bush and Paulson who have NO CLUE about how to run an economy.

One would hope that catering to big corporations will end when the repluicans get voted out for good.

Now for an ON TOPIC thing.

Will we see Qcom stock buyback tomorrow or not? What level are they going to let the stock sit at now?

JohnG, How can it slow down any more than it has already. I see the downside risk is not that great when compared with the potential upside gain.
