I thought McCain edged it, but since I listened to the debate on radio, I usually have a different reaction to the focus groups, who react more to visuals.

I thought Dick Morris had a good point: that John McCain laid the groundwork on "Joe the Plumber" that would allow him to hammer Obama on taxes.

I am personally fed up with the whole concept of these televised debates. If the candidates can't run on their record, I'm not interested in how well they tell lies.
