Thank you Allen for setting me straight on the vote to go to war. How come I always read on these boards that he had voted against the war. It was one of the things that attracted me to him .

Also he never responded to the ACORN charges last night that his campaign had contributed eight hundred thousand. AND in an interview with those Ohioan voters by CNN. Those who pushed those graphs yellow for women, green for men... one man said he was not satisfied that Obama let that one go.

So how to disseminate the correct information that the RW is making against Obama for this.

????

That was helpful- thanks to you and Gold.
The federal funding was confusing me.

What I concluded from my reading yesterday, was that ACORN is an enormous umbrella, active in many, many areas. Fair housing, safety, education, voting, uniting communities to get things accomplished.
I still think they need to address the problems within the voter registration program, but I am sure not ready to damn the entire organization on the basis of that, nor do I believe this is some huge voter fraud conspiracy.
