So he does want to punish me, he does want to punish me for working harder ..."

One of the themes running though Rand's "Atlas Shrugged" is:

"Oh, we can load any burden we want on those with ability. They will just work harder."

That's why the character, "John Galt," spends his time convincing the most able to quit working by showing them that the game is not worth the candle.

That plumber oughta be hired by a network to do political commentary

That is not as preposterous as it might seem.

Ever wonder why plumbers cost so much when you call them to your home?

It's because THEY'RE DAMN SMART! Especially in the days before plastic pipes, it was no snap to make pipes go where you wanted them to. Figuring out angles and lengths in very close quarters, and having it function perfectly for years is a difficult proposition.

I know this because once I tried to make a handrail out of steel pipes and a series of elbows. The project had already defeated my brother, and nearly defeated me.

The elbows just don't point in the right direction unless you're a good plumber. It's that simple.

Our go to plumber is one of the most intelligent guys we've ever met.

Joe should tell Obama if he leaves him alone, he'll hire people who might some day own their own business's.

The guy working for him will learn invaluable lessons. The gal at the desk will learn invaluable lessons.

They can take what they've learned and go into business for themselves and return the favor to another person and so on and so on.
