Joe:

Thanks for the compliments (savvy and astute). My golf buddies use those endearing terms about me also. Like dick "astute" head and cock "savvy" sucker all of the time.

Anyway, I'm not experienced enough with SNDK to rank management. It appears that made a grave mistake in announcing the kiss of death secondary without any supporting information. You tell me what the market first does when they hear secondary offerring.

Now, let's put our collective heads together and speculate as to the reason for the secondary:

1. Cash for a major acquisition. Who? Any strategically good fit companies out there?

2. Insiders taking some of the money off of the table. Maybe, as stock has climbed from single digits to thirties, some of these guys have become wealthy ON PAPER. This is not that bad an idea if insiders already hold a significant position. After all they should be entitled to some of the fruits of their labor and the risks that they took during this Company's infancy. How much do they hold?

3. Is the offerring necessary to get a brokerage's beak wet to gain better coverage for the stock? We should all know this by now that this does happen all of the time. MRVC did this with Bear, Sterns.

4. Any others.

This is what I'm looking for ya'll. Not a bunch of posts calling people names and gnashing of teeth while crying that life is not fair.

I think this company has a good CFO. The best time to raise capital is when you dont need it. The last 6 months have been extremely good to tech stocks and SNDK in particular. Although I am not happy about the coming dilution, if they have the extra resources to weather any downturns in the economy and or market, then we will be happier long term becuase they will be able to capitalize on others weaknesses.

I could very well be wrong, but I have to think that they have a story to tell when they do the offering. The story (i.e. road show) will rally the stock to the mid thirties and that is where the deal will be done. No real information here -- I've just seen the pattern before.

As far as the CEO, he may not be financially savvy, but he's a big reason the company is in the position it's in and he's no idiot.

BTW any body see the movie The Saint??? Pretty cool cell phone/HPC!!
