So many states only offer Vote by Mail.....How is their ID checked. Especially if they just registered that day or within a few days of voting. What ID did they provide?

My entire country votes absentee.

The ballot goes into a security envelope which in turn goes into a larger mailing envelope. My name is printed on the envelope. There is a declaration on the back that swears you are who you say you are. You have to sign and date. I believe the County Clerk compares the signature with the one on file with the registration info.

Not perfect, but better than nothing.

I'm surprised Joe the Plumber hasn't been called a racist yet.
