Iran certainly had realized that they need not fear any retribution from the Carter administration and that made it clear to the Middle East that the United States would not defend itself, let alone anyone else. Had Reagan not changed the dynamic -- radically --

Iran contra?

"Had Reagan not changed the dynamic"

Yeah, Reagan really changed the "dynamic"! Before he was even elected he traded guns for hostages with Iran. Then, obviously part of his secret, election winning deal with them, he didn't touch them for eight years!

There is no way to overstate the damage Carter did to our nation in four short years. Without question, the worst president in our lifetimes, other than maybe LBJ (it is a close call as to who was worse).

You are a real loon. Do you think anyone but the radical right believes that Carter was a worse president than Bush? Who do you listen to that causes you to believe such crap?
