know that their socialist ways are crippling them

Wonder if that's true. Few of us really know from whence comes bread, let alone some butter and jam. Circumstances soon become simply what IS, and are accepted. The slow deterioration passes unnoticed by most.

Oh, come one, mph. Tell me you're joking and not really falling in line with a line of argument sounding more and more xenophobic as the posts continue. Please. A Brit who is curious about or even has opinions about US politics is nothing anyone should be getting in a huff over. If you think t_s is wrong about something, debate him. Or ignore him if you don't want to debate him. But don't join Bru's shut up and butt out, you stinking foreign wannabe American crusade. t_s is being quite civil AFAICT, and doesn't appear to be merely trolling or obnoxiously provocative. When you resort, unprovoked, to rudeness and ad hominem, you've lost the argument.

JMO.

Could be part of it. I don't know. Could be wannabe-ism. (My word)
