I'm not sure whether it makes much of a difference whether or not he's a licensed plumber. Actually, I'm not sure why what he thinks or is has been made into such a big deal. If he turns out to be a paid shill for McCain, that would be something.

When I first heard about him I wondered to myself in the car if there was an "ex" Mrs. Joe the Plumber, and if SHE'D be contacting him about all that money he said he had.

I still wonder that :-) because apparently there IS an ex...
